Lynn Thomlison, Creative Director
Lynn Thomlison is the Creative Director at Virilion, responsible for the creative direction of all of the interactive agency’s work. Throughout her career in digital communications, Lynn has demonstrated tremendous talent and energy, leading teams of designers to create the best possible product for the client. She has extensive experience in art direction, usability and branding and has exhibited those talents throughout her career in creative leadership.

While Vice President and Creative Director at CBS Sports, Lynn was responsible for all CSTV Networks, encompassing both digital and television. She directed the creative development of all branding, design, motion graphics, marketing and product development. She built, staffed and mentored bi-coastal cross-functional design teams consisting of digital, production, and on-air and was the principle lead creative for more than 250 university schools sites, NCAA.com, CSTV.com, FansOnly.com, Collegiate Nationals and MaxPreps.com. While at CBS, Lynn also developed and franchised an interactive video program and achieved the first ever marketing communications awards for the network. With extensive branding experience, Lynn was the creative lead on rebranding the CBS network online and on-air and oversaw the implementation to ensure completion of deliverables on schedule and within budget.
Before joining CBS, Lynn was the Managing Director at one the world’s most respected public relations agencies, Burson-Marsteller. There she was responsible for the agency’s USA design and operations, overseeing client relations, business development, design management, interactive/web design, creative direction, packaging, branding and advertising. Lynn developed and expanded global client relationships with some of Burson’s largest and most high profile clients including Old Navy, McDonald’s, Timken, Quintiles, Coke, Merck, Numico and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
Prior to these positions, Lynn was the Director of Product Management at MediaNet, the world’s leading provider of B-to-B digital music and entertainment services, Vice President and Creative Director of Vivendi-Universal where she directed all creative and interactive development for BMG and UMG music genre websites, including rollingstone.com and getmusic.com, and earlier, Creative Director at Viacom/MTVi.

She holds a Master of Science degree in Design from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Fine Arts from Bishop's University in Canada and is fluent in French.
