Huard G. Smith, Executive Vice President
Huard G. Smith has more than 22 years of experience in successfully creating and linking strategies to execution in branding, interactive marketing, online sales, lead generation and Web customer service.
Huard’s primary role at Virilion is to ensure that all of our clients are consistently satisfied with our efforts. He guides each of Virilion’s practices so that we provide the high quality work to meet our client’s objectives.
Huard is also leading the charge on deploying the firm’s new innovations, making certain that we meet clients’ needs as the online world changes and evolves.
Formerly a Senior Vice President in the Strategy & Analysis practice of Digitas—the 3rd largest Interactive Agency in the nation and one of the largest digital marketing agencies in the world, Huard led teams for key clients including AARP, the InterContinental Hotels Group, The Home Depot, and Turner Broadcasting. Additionally, Huard created first-of-its-kind internal training and staff development programs which included a week-long boot camp in digital media measurement and analytics and courses in online campaign test design, emerging media, and other foundational skills.
Along with his highly accomplished record in the interactive industry, Huard received his Masters of Business Administration, with distinction, from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the Pennsylvania State University in Aerospace Engineering.
Huard and his family live in Boston, where he and his wife enjoy seeing offbeat, foreign language films when they can find a babysitter for their three children.
