Virilion Ends Summer Awash in AWARDS – Racks Up Some of the Best in Interactive Industry
09/14/2007
Virilion is pleased to announce it has won some of the most coveted awards in the interactive communications industry for projects including the new Human Rights Campaign web site redesign, Georgetown College of Arts and Science Online Research Magazine, the UR the Spokesman safe driving campaign for the Ad Council and the Healthy Child Healthy World Blue Butterfly Campaign.
“Virilion takes the time to really know our clients’ audiences and creates work that is engaging and speaks to that audience,” said Dan Solomon, CEO of Virilion and author of the soon to be released, Media Rules! “Members of the Human Rights Campaign really needed a site that spoke to them. So did the parents involved in the Blue Butterfly campaign, who are very concerned about their children being exposed to in-home health hazards. Virilion listens to these specific audiences and therefore creates great work that also happens to be award winning.”
In addition to the four Web Awards from the Web Marketing Association for the work cited above, Virilion also won Interactive Media Awards for its site,“Feed the Pig” for the Ad Council, two Summit MEA awards for "UR are the Spokesperson" and the Virilion Holiday Campaign as well two AMA’s “M” Awards for both its Easter Seals Holiday Campaign and the Virilion Holiday Campaign. Additionally Virilion has been nominated to receive two PR Platinum Awards for its work on the Business Software Alliance’s Cyber Tree House Game and its Hispanic outreach site, NuestraPhRMA.org, for the trade association, PhRMA.
