Who We Are
Jill Ammon, Expert in Engaging Health Care Communities, Joins Virilion
07/01/2008
Virilion is pleased to announce the hire of its newest Associate Account Director, Jill Ammon.
As Manager of Online Community Development at the American Diabetes Association (ADA), Jill became familiar with the organization’s professional and consumer audiences. She was responsible for managing ADA’s event and promotion efforts, direct mail campaigns, market research and education outreach efforts. This experience prepared Jill to build and implement strategies that moved the association’s offline audiences to the online world using interactive products on the organizations website. She created value through the development and use of these online initiatives, increasing member retention and loyalty as well. Jill’s hard work paid off as the ADA website was awarded a Webby in the category of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.
“Jill will add significantly to helping our health care-related clients engage patients, care givers and their wider audiences,” said Dan Solomon, Virilion’s CEO. “Her advanced training in measurement and analytics will help all of our clients better understand the results they are obtaining from their communication efforts.”
In May 2008, Jill graduated with her MBA in Marketing Intelligence and International Marketing from the George Washington University where she formulated global growth strategies for many organizations such as the Solar Household Energy group and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Jill is an active member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and a participant with the AMA’s Internet special interest group. Jill is also currently providing pro bono marketing expertise as a consultant with The Taproot Foundation.
